Key Accountabilities:
• Perform full stack software development
• Develop front-end interfaces and supporting back-end services
• Work closely alongside our main developer and deliver projects broken down into easy to manage tasks
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively while being fully remote
• Research and implement solutions using new technologies where needed
• Share knowledge and learnings with the team through meetings as well as documentation
• Maintain code quality and best practices across the stack
requirements
3+ years of experience working with PHP (Laravel / Joomla)
1+ years of experience working with Javascript and front-end frameworks (jQuery, React, Vue)
3+ years of experience working with SQL databases and managing small to medium datasets
Working within a cloud environment (AWS experience a large asset)
Experience with git and working on code within a team
Experience with deploying software through a CI / CD pipeline an asset
Experience working from design (figma) to code a major asset
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of web and application security and the importance of data privacy
Passionate about getting to the root of problems and developing full-fledged solutions
Ability to operate efficiently across several different product domains simultaneously
A hunger to learn and deliver the best solutions for the right scenarios
Working Hours and location: We work fully remote but communicate frequently over Slack (messaging, screen shares, team huddles, etc.) Our working hours are roughly between 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Monday to Friday and request that you do the same.
